Please be precautionary. What a huge freaking blow to the team if they are out for an extended period. I have faith they can hold it together down the stretch like they did when they lost Gio for the rest of the season a couple years back.
 Please. Please. Please.

Wideman and Kulak would be my guess if those two are out for more than tonight.

Man look at the first post and watch the left leg, it really looks like his knee falls and bends his ankle, i thought the blade part looked minor.

High ankle sprains occur from either hyper-dorsiflexion or an inversion injury; his right foot went into eversion.

Millions tweeted out that there are worse things then a motivated and veteran guy like Wideman....I can't disagree.
I hope Dougie and Stone are back soon, but this team has faced adversity this season before, and bounced back

depends on how badly they want to keep the LHS-RHS pairings
the RHS d-men depth chart right now:
 Wideman
 Kostka
 Andersson
 Morrison

Yeah, and that would be Ok for the bottom pair. But it messes up the top 4 pairings. Brodie and Stone had something going on. And of course so did Gio and Hamilton.

But hopefully GG's system is so ingrained now they can slot seamlessly.

it didn't look like this would be an Achilles cut even though it was on the back of the calf. i would imagine that would be much more serious and would not involve skating yourself off in frustration.
the right ankle didn't look like it was the issue either btw

I think it was the side of his leg rather than the back of his leg. Not sure how that would affect things.

I was totally kidding about the mirror comment, was funny in my head at 1130....

The blown up tweet I saw looked like a skate got between the back of the left skate and ankle. I'd say cut left back of leg/ankle.

			Team is cursed.
Since 03/04 key defensemen always get hurt right before or early on in the playoffs.

Not gonna play doctor but watching the reaction to Karlson's injury I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's not an achillies slice/cut. He reacted with panic and fear as opposed to Dougie reacting with frustration.
