I have a theory that ricardodw is actually a crude machine learning algorithm masquerading as a human. It tracks the incidence of words used on CP in negative/critical statements of Hamilton (or Bouwmeester, or Stempniak, or whatever other random player it chooses from its library), and after hitting some threshold the Ricardo program spits out a bunch of numbers, statistics, and needlessly convoluted abstractions stored in its database on that player in the form of a loosely tied together and barely coherent output.
I have no evidence for this, but it sure would help explain a lot of his incomprehensible drivel, sporadic posting style, and apparent immunity to critical reasoning, human sensibility, and rational discussion.

Sorry everyone, but shouldn't the title of this thread be 'The 'Whoa!'s of Dougie Hamilton'? Right now, it's grammatically incorrect. Whoas is correctly plural, but you don't say 'Whoas!', you say 'Whoa!'

No. Treat whoa! as any other noun in this case. For example a dog.
You would not say The dog's of Dougie Hamilton.
Whoas is plural because he's had multiple whoa moments..and of course being a pun on the woes of Dougie...

Honestly, it's way too early to be pointing fingers at individual players (other than Grossmann of course, because OBVIOUSLY). New coach, new system, rusty superstar, unexpectedly shaky starting goalie. They'll hit their stride and I think they'll have a good season... eventually. |
To be fair Scorpion, I did initially suggest they rename the thread to the 'Whoa!'s', but grammatically it makes no sense. Also... who cares.
