This is gonna be a tough game. Islanders are barely clinging to the final wildcard spot in the east and they're gonna be desperate. Also, afternoon games are generally pretty sloppy with lots of defensive mistakes and odd-man rushes. Add it all up and it smells like a loss. I hope I'm wrong.

Pumped for this one! Just got back from a short trip to Hong Kong to celebrate my grandma's 100th bday so I could be back to bring my 10 month old boy to his first ever flames game... dudes been waiting his whole life for today!

I'm definitely in the nervous group about this one... afternoon games are always a concern, and the Islanders do seem to be kryptonite for the Flames.

I have a good feeling about this one. The game against the Red Wings was almost like a loss with the way the Flames let it slip. That should be enough of a wake up call. My prediction is a 4-1 win with goals by Gaudreau, Giordano, Brouwer, and Frolik.

I'm hoping that's a case of "out of sight - out of mind". 
I like how loose the Flames have been - they're having fun on this run, so as long as they keep tight on the ice, we should be fine.
