I still think GG is a poor motivator, however. I think the players are getting themselves up for the games, being that it's now the stretch run and with the acquisition of Stone (and subtraction of Wideman) which is a vote of confidence from the GM.
Based on all the time you've spent with the team, or.....?

GG was working with what we had. For all we know, GG has been asking Treliving for better defensemen since the season began.

Ya none of us really know, I've noticed he's been much more expressive on the bench tho, like him or not he is developing as a coach and he's obviously making improvements. Yes he has a better roster than Hartley but he managed to get them out of their awful funk, something Hartley could not do last year. Both go hand in hand I guess but GG is growing on me

Just watched the highlights. I cannot believe that pass from Johnny to Ferland on the first goal. Did he really see him? Wow.....

This doesn't actually mean anything.

I won't lie I hated Stajan under Hartley (besides when he scored the winner vs the nucks)but man he fits this system perfectly as the no.4 C. Actually gets to show his strengths, very nice to see

One day, we can clone a Hamilton (dougie not Freddy) in his interview.

I expect that is how Dougie also manages to so perfectly orchestrate and time these.
