Would people really prefer the Wild to playing the Oilers in round one?
I don't care what the season series says, the one man team would be far easier to beat

To me it doesn't matter either way.
I'd rather crawl out of the WildCard and into the top three spot in the Pacific Division. Plus Edmonton really hasn't been all that special since their hot start, they've been ok, but they're starting to look shaky.
I'd rather put some pressure on them and see them do what the Oilers do, fall apart, or hope that someone other then McDavid actually does something to help them, which is unlikely because the core of that team is still loser.

Yes. It could mean facing a team built to win the Space Jam of Hockey in the first round in perpetuity. I do not care. Coital relations to the Grease.

Geez, that looked awful close to too many men on the ice for the Oilers to me.

I honestly don't think it matters much. This year's Flames look like they are capable of matching up with any other team.

Wow, what a save by Ryan Ellis - That was Chris Tanev quality.

Yeah, Remenda acting like it was an amazing "save". But the puck was corner straight into the corner.

Incredible. But from the overhead cam I think that puck was going wide.

So with that loss Edmonton loses the first tie breaker with the Ducks (ROW) and should move down into third yes?
NVM, NHL.com updated and this is, indeed the case!
