Another solid period. I still think they're giving up too many chances in close and they've been pretty scrambly defensively, but at least Johnson is making the saves and we still have the 2 goal lead. Need a big 3rd here to finish these guys off.

The Backlund line continues to dominate every time they step on the ice. One of the best lines in hockey right now, hands down.

Not sure I agree. Shot attempts in this game are 44-24 for the Panthers, yet the score is 4-2 Calgary. Flames have been opportunistic as well as one bad goal from Luongo. Johnson has made several big saves. The score could easily be reversed.

Oilers lose 2-1. Score was flattering. Only watched like 30 minutes of the game and the Caps could have had 6 goals.

Usually goalies lose that kind of weight due to sweat, but rebound once re-hydrated.

I know when I used to play, I'd drop weight like that.

score adjusted 5 on 5 shot attempts are 31 to 25 for the panthers. still ahead but it's close
