Well I suppose it depends on what team the blatant penalties are on. If you swapped out Giordano for McDavid there would have been a routing hooking call made as that's as blatant as it gets.

Haha I didn't even notice what Monahan did to get so open. What a smart shove at the exact right time. Could have maybe been called interference/cross checking.

Looked almost identical very similar to his OT winner in SJ 2 years ago:


Hard backhander from the point, Monahan with a smart push off the Dman to get separation, pokes in the rebound.
