Well, here we go again. Hopefully the boys will play with some effort after that stinker against Arizona. Will the Flames singe the wings of the Flyers and send 'em crashing?

With the Kings not playing until tomorrow, they will have three games in hand on us with either being a point up or a point down.
I think being a point down with having played three more games is a hill I'm not sure the Flames can climb out of. And this is coming from a pretty positive guy when it comes to Flames' chances.

Still have 4 games against them which will probably be the final deciding factor.

Sure but to think they're gonna sweep the 4 of those is wildly optimistic. Even getting 3 wins is just a four point swing between the 2 teams.

Would be nice to see Elliott step up. Johnson is a career backup for a reason and there's nothing left for him to prove going into the offseason but Elliott has a lot on the line going into free agency. If he can't rise to the occasion in these key games it's likely certain he won't be back next in Calgary.
