And therein lies a big problem for the Bruins.
And I just told you why acquiring him is a BAD idea.
He can barely skate anymore, can't handle the puck or hardly pass worth a damn anymore. And he turns the puck over as badly as our 4-7th D-men. He's no good anymore at the NHL level. At all. Chara is now a complete liability.

The Toronto Maple Leafs may be in striking distance of the playoffs but that doesn't mean management has given up on their plan of a long-term rebuild.
The Leafs have reportedly been receiving interest on the trade market according to a report from the Fourth Period, and that interest is focused on three members of their core group of forwards. The team has taken calls regarding the availability of Tyler Bozak, James van Riemsdyk and Nazem Kadri and it sounds like general manager Lou Lamoriello is at least listening.

Just get the feeling Kadri is in flames silks by next season. Also have the feeling we wont much like the price initially but over time will grow to love it.

Not opposed to Kadri but I don't see what we have that we would part with that would interest the Leafs. No to trading Monahan, Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Bennett, Hamilton, or Brodie for him. Also no to Backlund unless the Leafs add
