Yes, thinking on it I believe it has been daily over the last few years in the summer. Only winter where it reduces.
While not AC it would be nice to see if Hainan makes any positive changes to frequency of their PEK-YYC flight.

I complained to their twitter handle this morning about it.
@FlyYYC why does Nexus line merge w/ regular line in your new "world class" airport? This should be an easy fix but still not corrected.
@ly_ona it's part of the new Terminal's design - we have the first @catsa_gc Plus, a streamlined pre board screening process.

Why am I not surprised that they think nothing is wrong?

People will say that those with Nexus should man up or not complain, etc. But it seriously made a huge difference. I was flying over the holidays and literally bypassed a line 150 people deep. I gave up my time/money to join the trusted traveler program, and for them to just brush it under the rug like this and say "they've streamlined the preboard process", really shows they don't give a crap. It literally would take one hour to figure out how to create a separate line.
I'm in Edmonton a lot and may seriously go out of my way to book flights through YEG simply due to YYC's lack of complete basic adaptability.

Not only nexus, but if you ponied up for first class, there should be a priority line for premium class as well in a big airport like that.

I'm wondering about the Call to gate process.
My mother in law does not speak english so how will she find her gate when she returns home?

YYC-EWR upgauge to a 319

YYC-LAX remains two daily but now 1 320 and 1 319 (previously both 320s)
YYC-SFO as previously mentioned goes to twice daily CRAs.

Gotta think this route isn't working out for AC.

Call to gate is not the worst thing in the world. (It is stupid, don't get me wrong, but it's tolerable). Nine times out of ten, the airline prints your gate on the boarding pass so you can just ignore CTG. If not, she'll have to watch the monitors and look for her destination and gate number.
In the meantime tell her to sit back, relax and enjoy!

I used to use the econo lot prior to the new terminal, but I'm not looking forward to the hike now. Can someone tell me which "shuttle" lot is better, Park2go or ParkandJet?

Park&Jet is right beside the airport. We use them all the time. Never have to wait long at our car for pickup or the airport for the return trip.

Just used Park2Go for a trip last week, as with all previous times I've used them it has been a breeze. Fast dropoff and right onto the shuttle bus, quick pickup on arrival (at 2am no less), car started and warming up for me and a discount with my AMA membership.

Just be aware of the potential bad things that can happen with Park2Go. Including: Joy rides, robberies etc.
Ensure you don't leave your registration/garage opener in the car.

Park n Jet picks you up at your car - sort of. Usually in the same aisle. You have to park yourself.
At Park2Go they have a central dropoff with shuttles waiting nearby.
I use both, they are the same price (even with the AMA discount). The only reason I prefer one over the other is whether I want to drag my keys with me - Park2Go is valet, but you obviously will have to hold onto the tag they give you in exchange.

Since Park2Go is valet, do they expect tips? I'm a reluctant tipper. lol

I've never tipped Park2Go guys, don't know if that's a reflection on me or not! I also drop off the kids with the luggage before going to the valet - so I have no luggage.
Maybe I should have tipped!
I did tip the Park n Jet guy once, he helped me clear off my car since it had like 8 inches of snow covering it. He seemed genuinely surprised about a tip, I suspect no one tips.

I don't agree. You paid more to the airline not the airport. Wait in line like the rest of the people. You aren't a special snowflake.

Absurd. Have you ever flown priority or first? I expect to be coddled all the way from the check in desk, to security, to the lounge, to the boarding line and the premium in-flight experience.
