Flames will have an outdoor practice at Central Park this Saturday
If you are in New York, might be something cool to see.

The Flames are scheduled to skate outside on Lasker Rink in Central Park's north end. A team spokesman said the Flames will don their equipment at their hotel and bus over to the rink and back.
The Winnipeg Jets (2013), Philadelphia Flyers and Florida Panthers (2011) have also held practices at Lasker, used as a swimming pool in the summer and a two-sheet skating rink in winter.

That is awesome!
If I was Gulutzan I would tell the team if they win on Sunday they can absolutely rip it up for Super Bowl but if they lose there will be a morning skate Monday at 7am followed by 2 hours of video. Playing in New York on Super Bowl Sunday in the early afternoon is going to be a challenge for this team

And in the news today a hockey team was mugged in Central Park. When reached for comment an unnamed member of the CalgaryPuck community grumbled "See that proves that the Flames need more toughness"
