That's on a two on one. Anyway, he didn't stop the pass across to Radulov. Wideman had the guy in front. His job was to stop the pass to Radulov and, if not, get in a shooting lane.

You can blame a lot on him but you can't blame everything on him. The team have let him down badly. Gaudreau has been anonymous for a long time. BT listened to the fans and signed him to a long term contract but apart from a few games here or there he's stunk. One of the biggest disappointments of the entire league and absolutely brutal on his own zone. You can't legislate for that. With the exception of a few games recently ditto with Monahan. Eventually GG will probably take the fall for it but my word have some players on this team just gone awol.

Adversity generally reveals character. The team is better than this. They have played poorly before but because the season is not quite yet lost, the games are still meaningful.

I really hope Burke is paying attention and identifying the future core of this team. That includes the coach and GM.

Right now, its not obvious to me who those people are.
