Bennett healthy scratched vs Predators
Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
As spotted by @Fan960Wills, Sam Bennett staying late on the ice. Usually indicates he'll sit out. Will confirm with coach shortly. #Flames

Unfortunate, but necessary. Although I know he's not the only one, Sam needs to be better.
Let him gain some perspective with a different look.

Good...he has been awful for a long while now.
Needs to watch from above and just get a different perspective on things.

The tiger needs to be caged and starved for a little bit.
Needs that fire in his belly.

Glen Gulutzan also confirms Micheal Ferland is back in the lineup tonight. He missed the last 3 games with a lower body injury. #NSHvsCGY

Good. He's been awful. At the very least Monahan and Gaudreau have shown flashes. Bennett hasn't shown anything. Hopefully this helps him.

Not surprising. He had one of his worst games in his career against the Panthers.
Hopefully this wakes him up.

So does Johnny go back to Monahan or get a new centre?

Ferland back in tonight. Stajan moves up to centre third line, F. Hamilton centers the fourth line. #Flames

Looks like Stajan is moving up to the 3rd line while Hamilton is taking over the 4th line duties.

Completely fine with this.
He is playing his worst hockey since becoming a pro and it's not even close.
A view from up top will hopefully benefit him

So:
Gaudreau-Monahan-Chiasson
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Versteeg-Stajan-Brouwer
Ferland-Hamilton-Bouma
Or do I have Gaudreau and Versteeg backwards?
