Jets to wear white classic jersey tonight at home, Flames will wear red on the road
Yeah maybe not that thread worthy on it's own, but come on Calgary, don't blow this opportunity to make something beautiful. Wear the retros!

If the Flames wore the retros, it will be the most beautiful event in Winnipeg's history. Winnipeg, however, is not worthy of such beauty. Regular reds for them.

I think they designate stuff like retro nights ahead of time but things always change. I remember the first year with the walmart thirds they decided to not wear them last minute because the team was on a winning streak and didn't want to jinx it by wearing a jersey they had a bad record in.

thought I heard on the Fan this morning that Flames were going with the retros? maybe it was hope more so then knowledge?

You think the Flames would be.
I don't see WPG just deciding yesterday they wanted to wear their Heritage Classic uniforms. The uniform sched is usually released before the season starts so they had every opportunity to pull this off.
