Yes because Glen is on the bench saying to his players "ok guys, just stay on course, I know we're losing but don't change anything, keep playing the way you're playing"
C'mon man...

As has been previously mentioned, there's a monitor down there that he's looking at.

Speed. I like Monahan and Tkachuk, but neither of them have much speed. That is key in this league. As timbit said, the Jackets don't have any stars, but holy #### can they skate. I would love some of that speed and tenacity on the Flames.

I hope this aint the same team as last year. Suck, go on a run to get back in then revert back to pure suckage.

Old habits are hard to break...they're just not playing the same system they have over the last three weeks. Forwards aren't coming back to break out properly...defenceman are trying that stretch pass on every breakout play again. Ugh.

Doesn't appear to be affecting the opposition. Tampa and Columbus seem to get around on it just fine.

Yeah brouwer just isn't what this team needs. I really hope they get put from that contract in the expansion draft.

He seems to have forgetten there are other players on the ice. Trying again and again to skate through the whole Columbus team is helping.

It's not always speed - what I liked about the 2014 team was the fact that they always took a direct path to the puck. This team seems to back off way too much - and that allows the other team space to make a play. It's the tenacity factor that is the real backbreaker here. Columbus never seems to quit on the puck. It's quite phenomenal to watch a bunch of fairly ordinary players do that consistently as a team. Kudos to Torts because that's where it starts.
GG's system is a lot more backed-off and less pressured. Not workable against a determined opponent.

Absolutely. This is how he played during the start of the year. He tries to do too much.

Well, guys, I don't think the Flames will win this one. As a matter of fact, I don't think they'll ever win again. Bobrovsky is just a pillar in net for Columbus, there's no beating him, that's for sure. And after this... well, Johnny Gaudreau is selfish, Sean Monahan only is good because of Gaudreau, Brouwer is overpaid, and so I don't see any future for this team. I think they'll finish last in the NHL, and pick fourth overall, and get to watch the Oilers win the Stanley Cup.
Gosh, I'm so mad.

We have the speed but don't always use it. Tonight is like Wednesdays game where the Flames sat back and let the opposition come to them. We need to be more agressive with our forcheck and do a better job of slowing them down in the neutral zone.

Ugh, have fallen back into some of the bad habits ifnthe first 15 games. Argh, that layoff was not good for us, unfortunately. Want to see a strong third to carry into the next game.
