Chiapet: "The feed is a little fuzzy there Garth, but can you show us some video highlights of Griffin?"

Katz sent this photo to Chia with a bunch of hearts drawn on it and a note saying "GET HIM NOW!!!"

After a hot start they've been less then average and have seem their lead over the teams behind them diminish. Are they better sure? But they're better in the sense that a rancid peanut butter and straw sandwich is better then a poop sandwich.
I want to add that I was disgusted by the Oilers broadcast crew whining when the holy diver was pulled off of the ice for a concussion protocol check after going face first to the ice because it was a tied game.
I guess protecting players from head injuries isn't important if its Conner.

At their pace since November, it's started. It's just a bit slower. They are 7-11 in that time frame. They won't make the POs at that pace.
Calgary was 9-9 (with one OTL). And started the month 1-5.

Oilers would get spanked by the current iteration of the Flames. They're looking like the team that incited jersey tosses in Rexall, except more structured.
It's a shame we had to hand them two freebies when the team was ice cold. Otherwise we'd be looking at the Flames leapfrogging the Oilers tonight.

It's almost identical to their 2011-12 season, when they finished 2nd to last in the league with 74 points. After 24 games both seasons had 26 points. They are only 2 points ahead of that season after 27 games.
