In less than 24 hrs Jill Stein has $1,802,889 raised for recounts in WI, MI and PA. She needs $2.5m. It's happening: https://jillstein.nationbuilder.com/recount |

So she's at 2.8 million, which is enough for one of the three... Well. That's a waste of money. If it was one state, maybe it'd be worthwhile, but there's just no way. Although, it will, one would hope, reaffirm the integrity of the voting system.

I can't even begin to imagine the gong show if the recount results in a changed result for President.
Gong show might be the best outcome, because massive violence from each side is entirely possible

Jill Stein could also be grifting here, she is a pretty shady character herself. Could totally see her pocketing the money instead of spending it. The whole thing is so bizarre, she spent almost the entire campaign bashing Hillary and saying Trump was less dangerous. Maybe she was convinced Hillary would win all along so she just went with that? And now that the GOP will be significantly worse for the environment, she's a little angry? I don't know, it's weird.

Yeah, she did her best to split the vote and even said Clinton would start a nuclear war in Syria. Clearly she is nut job.

Honestly, I think a political crisis would be terrible and I am thinking that is all Stein wants. I think the saying "some people just want to watch the world burn", really does apply here.

There was some funny stuff in Michigan though. For example, according to Michael Moore, more people showed up to vote on the referendum issues than voted for the president, and more of those "extra" votes voted in favour of "liberal" issues. He figured that those people just didn't want to choose either Clinton or Trump, but it seems odd that they wouldn't pick one or the other since they showed up to vote.

The other thing here is Clinton conceded already and unless she officially retracts, what would happen? Would they do the election over again? At this point, I would not be surprised if Clinton just didn't want it any more. Would Kaine take over? Would they need to do the election over again?

Too many questions!

No response from the Trump camp to the latest threats from North Korea.
So much for creating jobs in the Rust Belt. With this guy there might not even be one left.

It doesn't seem that big in the context of >120 million total votes, but when you look at the electoral difference, it really stands out. I think when you look at it as a ratio of popular vote to electoral vote, it is probably the biggest spread in American election history.

Not that I am making a case for or against the electoral system, but in this one instance, the results are very divisive and unique.

Add another billionaire to the Trump admin, Wilbur Ross expected to be his commerce secretary. Wonder what all those working class voters who voted for Trump to bring jobs back are thinking as the billionaires pile up in the Trump admin.

Where do they have the numbers posted?

I am curious about DC, Texas and the swing states.
