#Flames coach Glen Gulutzan says LW Matthew Tkachuk needs a couple stitches in wrist, but doesn't seem too serious.

1) Giordano, Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett, Chiasson
2) Brodie, Hamilton, Brouwer, Backlund, Tkachuk

#Flames lines/pairings unchanged today. Wideman skating as extra d-man. Elliott in the starter’s net. Looks like same lineup tomorrow.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Really odd that we haven't seen another call up. Even Hathaway would make some sense.
As it is, several days off and hopefully refocused. Plus the random chatter about not having sufficient practice time (Haynes bringing this up for example) won't be an excuse anymore.
I expect their most complete effort against Dallas.
Edit: And if Tkachuk is out any period of time I guess that leaves them no choice to to call someone up. Hope its nothing but if its the hand he hurt during the fight the other night I'm a bit more concerned.

For the love of god, get Chiasson on the PP and get put an actual Dman on that first unit.

Peter Loubardias just said on the Fan that Tkachuk fell on his hands while the team was working on the PP after battling with Wideman.

Plant Chiasson in the crease on the PP and take point shots. Monahan and Bennett can crash the net to help knock in rebounds.

FFS Chaisson on the PP??! WTF. The guy only scores when other players shoot the puck off him. I would be shocked to see him actually tip a puck. THANKS WIDEMAN! YOU GIANT POS. Is there anything he does that doesn't hurt the team?
