It's happening for myriad reasons that overlap and interrelate because that's how complexity theory works.

So what other celebrities are gonna die to end this year? I'd be hiding out somewhere if I was Paul McCartney or Mick Jagger.

I hope he is successful because I don't want to imagine the downside. Good luck, Trump. Let's see what you've got!

Imagine being Clinton, being beaten by Trump. That's about as humiliating a thing as I can think of.

These are the people who reelected George Bush. Are people REALLY surprised? After Rob Ford getting council, nothing will surprise me anymore. People are just dumb

No governmental or military experience, first for a President.

It's going to take a long time to fully wrap my head around the idea that Donald effing Trump is going to be the leader of the free world.

In silver lining news, NC voted Pat McCrory out of office, which is good, because he was terrible in a million different ways.

I'm looking for whatever good news I can get right now.

The "City of Champions" sign came down...and I think your "Leader of the Free World" sign just did too.

Infowars predicted this a long time ago. Posters in this thread ridiculed me and this online publication.

Just because he had David Icke on his show doesn't mean Alex Jones believes in Reptilian Aliens.

Hopefully he surrounds himself with good military people. The thought of him having final say on the ongoings in the Middle east scares me to death.

“The law is no protection. Governments make laws, but whether they are carried out, and how the police behave, depends on the general temper in the country. If large numbers of people are interested in freedom of speech, there will be freedom of speech, even if the law forbids it; if public opinion is sluggish, inconvenient minorities will be persecuted, even if laws exist to protect them.” - Orwell

What kind of temper does Trump bring to the country?
