I am so depressed I am watching a bad show on Netflix, eating chocolate, and getting drunk all by myself.

Maybe I have a different perspective than some people here, but I think this is the best game by Gaudreau all year. He's going to the hard areas of the ice and winning battles, something I haven't seen from him most of this year. If he keeps this up he's going to get things figured out sooner than later.

Is the offensive system just to chase the puck wherever it goes? All 3 at once?

He's been trying. There's just something not translating with this new system. And that goes for pretty much all of our top players. This system isn't working for them.

That's when they're executing properly, which seems rare...on a standard shift, it's either dump the puck in and never get it back, or just give it away at the opposition's blue line.

Oh my god, the dumb Kings fans have kept the Elliott chant/taunt going for the better part of the last 8 minutes. Make it stop.

I remember the Senators just before Cameron was fired. They were terrible and lost, and Cameron was screaming and swearing at them. I thought then he was so out of his league. Based on the PP, it appears like he still is. Like a lot of people, I was so excited about this year. 38 shots on Elliott this game so far. So disappointing tonight. The Kings are a great team but this has to be the easiest game this year for them. Sure hope there is more effort tomorrow night.

This team hardly ever forechecks. They skate around in the offensive zone but rarely my hit anyone in the offensive zone. I want the hard forechecking Flames back!!!

Hey guys. I'm at the Sharks game. I haven't missed a flames game all year but it sounds like not much point in watching this one later eh?

He has made some nice plays...out muscled DD in the corner and setup a nice pass earlier

That's an important part of the system but there is more to it than that - turn the puck over frequently at the opponents blue line, try not spend too much time in the other teams zone and take more penalties than the opposition - There are probably some other things I have not mentioned as well.

The thing is, the Kings really aren't a great team. They're 6-6-0 (assuming they win) and are playing their 3rd string goalie.
Just a pathetic display from the Flames tonight.
