So can we finally stop blaming Monahan for Johnnys failures? Both need to get their heads out of their own asses.
Who's doing that? The boards been pretty consistent with slamming both of them. They've been awful all season.
Not only are they not the bet players, they're the worst players. Just won't win that way. Was gonna tube in but sounds like more of the same infuriating nonsense. Thinking a comedy movie is a better use of my time.
He's doing it constantly, at bad times and bad areas of the ice. I can take the high risk stuff if he's scoring, and also because he'll also go get the puck back after a bad play, but he's not doing any of that right now, and it's costing the team.
I wouldn't bench him, but I'd severely reduce his ice time until he makes smarter plays.

Do the flames employ a sports psychologist? Its pretty obvious with Johnny and even Monahan that they are putting huge pressure on themselves and getting frustrated. Its all between the ears.

If someone wants to say a dark humor post is in bad taste that's fine. It's not everyones taste and I know that. However, if someone wants to attack me personally I will post a response worthy of their contribution.
Far too many attempts to make tight little passes in their own end. The system is to break out as a 5 man unit with lots of puck support, but so far they are trying to do too much with it by making silly little passes that are hard to receive because the players are too close together.
What they need to do is start moving their feet. They are turning it over in their own end far too much. Very frustrating to watch and gives the opposition so many free scoring chances.
