We are! Girlfriend and I are going down for my birthday.
Like Ron MacLean says, there is just something about the saturday game!
We are sitting in 'premium 8' whatever that is. Know its in the attack end the flames will be in twice.

Every year there are members that make it down for the California trips. Additionally, and I know this is difficult for some to grasp, we DO have members that don't live in Calgary!
Just wondering which ones are going for this trip. I see there is one already. There will likely be more that reply in the next couple of days.

No no no. Every time I've been there for Flames games, there have been plenty of red jerseys. Last season, we randomly sat next to 5 palm desert snowbirds from here (so that was 8 red jerseys in a row).

I have done the LA/Ana road trip several times with some friends, always a great time!! A great place for some good drinks post game is at the Ritz Carlton next door to the Staples Center. For whatever reason there is a very hardcore King fanbase that drinks there post game and its always fun going back and forth with them.
I always get a kick out of telling the Kings fans the story how Darryl Sutter was hired as their coach. He claimed he was shoveling sh** on the farm when Lombardi called and offered the job and now he's all Hollywood with the celebs. They are always shocked.

Why not? We don't all live with our parents and some actually travel to other cities to watch games. There are tonnes of Flame fans at the Staples Center every time I've been there.
I travel to at least 2 different stadiums every year and LA is usually one of them.

You're wrong, I know a few people that usually do the cali road trip. I def plan on doing one next season + vegas if it works out. Fingers crossed the markets settle at work. Also CP has a bunch of Cali based users IIRC.

Was down there this past March for the Cali games! Most memorable moment at staples was all the Kings fans heckling me for my Kopitar/ Gustl bobble head...... "i'll give ya $5 for it! Uh no. But your a flames fan! you don't need it! "
