Default October 19, just two games.

It is a quiet Wednesday and it will end early as there are no games in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.

Both games are at 1700h

Carrick and Cadri have scored and it is 2-0 for the stinkin' Leafs late in the first period.

Zibanejad scored 69 seconds into the game, 1-0 Rangers after twenty minutes.

It is nice to see Bob McKenzie on during the intermissions of the NBCSN telecasts.

That was a bad call on Zucarello, no way that was a penalty.

I don't know which thread to use, so I'll use this one because it doesn't have a shirtless Thornton.

Crap reffing in Winnipeg tonight

Vanek on the Red Wings power play ties the game at 1-1.

Not just good, but a cup contender soon enough.

Lol they're far from a cup contender. They need 5 defencemen and 3 more experienced forwards.

Wow, 4-0 now. Andersen in net for the Leafs is playing well. Kadri and Nylander with two points each as the Leafs score a pair of power play goals just eight seconds apart.

Terrific penalty killing by the Red Wings as they were two men short. It is still 1-1 a good game to watch and Centre Ice is free!

Atlanta was supposed to be good 10 years ago. Same old crap with that team. Overrated prospects and no depth. They have nice pieces at the top in Wheeler, Scheifle, Little, Byfuglien and now Laine but no depth at defence or forward,

Jimmy Howard is playing very well in goal for Detroit and is the only reason his team is tied as the Rangers have out shot them 27-14 after forty minutes.

Myers gets the Jets on the board, 4-1 Leafs.

Uh oh 4-2 now. Would not be shocked if the garbage Leafs blow the 4-0 lead.

4-3 now. Cup contending Leafs choking away a lead.

Have to say Scheifle is a great player. Would take him over any Flame not named Gaudreau.

Nope I'd take Scheifle over him.

Scheifele is better defensively and just as good offensively.
