Yup, go Oakland go! I really like Chavez, and Kendall, Swisher, and the Big Hurt, and Zito pitching....the hockey atmosphere in California sucks, but the BASEBALL here rules!
I hope it's As vs Mets in the WS |

Yup, the baseball atmosphere in Oakland is so great they always finish near the bottom of the AL in attendance despite having one of the better teams in the game over the past half decade.
 Go Tigers!

Hockey atmosphere at Kings games is great - equal to any other rink I've ever visted - that said the Tigers have a little better pitching and therfore will win a very close and exciting series.

another Tiger's victory. The bottom of the 9th was a nail biter, bases loaded, the big Hurt at the dish, but they pulled it off.

I haven't watched much of the playoffs, but it is neat that they have Greg Zaun in the Sportsnet broadcast centre. He looked a but tense, but I'm sure that he will relax in time.

Man he sure didn't miss that pitch by much though. I was hoping he'd jack that one out. These playoffs are missing one of those really big cool moments that we'll all remember. That could have been it.

And the Tigers finish the A's off on Ordonez's HR in the 9th. Amazing.
I imagine Tiger fans feel the way we did after eliminating Detroit/San Jose in 04. What a run.

			It's really quite amazing.
The Tigers with virtually no hitting in their lineup, are relying on pitching and timely hits to win ball games.

Really is reminiscent of the Flames run.

We had a few guys close to 30 homers during the season, Monroe, Polanco, Mags, Inge ect.. can all hit, we just don't have an A-Rod, Ortiz ect..

I was at the game on Saturday, was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Right now I don't know if either of the NL teams has the pitching to keep up with the Tigers. Carpenter had two starts and didn't do anything in either one. I think the Mets are asking for a lot from their pitching tonight to get them another effort like they got last night.
Whatever happens tonight you'll have a tired pitching staff going up against a team who's rotation is completley set up and has had a full week off. I hope Detroit takes the series as the people in that city have suffered through a lot of really bad Baseball.
