Good point.
Thanks PCs.
Not as fun is it? In fact it's very depressing but oh so tru. At least the NDP is the equivalent of a clown car in Alberta.

Nope! Just as 20 years from now, people will still be using "Thanks Obama" with impunity.

Man was she ever delusional. She actually thought she was royalty when in actuality she's just a lawyer and a crook.

I think one of the great moments in her career was that with all of her bragging about how close she was to Mandela, that she didn't have a seat at the funeral, and Harper basically had to sneak her in through the waiters door.

Still remember her "raise the roof" gesture after winning the April 2012 election. It wasn't even 4 years old but that seems so long ago now.

So the NDP didn't do the royalty review correctly at all.

Was the Mandela funeral where she refused to take the Federal government jet home and instead expensed her own charter? It was something like $20k in expenses for the trip while in comparison the NS premier spent about $500 on a commercial flight to Ottawa.

Yes, and she was also caught in several lies about flight availability to Ottawa.
And she spend about 45k on the trip

What, owning 1/4 146 000 of them isn't enough? You want a WHOLE one for yourself? Who do you think you are, a politician?

Make her live in it. No utilities. Give her a sleeping bag. We could even make it a fancy thermal one for her.

Are you kidding, she worked for the UN and probably had three aides fetching her coffee, and knitting her blankets and rubbing her tired feet.
I'm sure that she was upset when she could only have one when she went, I mean her idea of protocol would suggest that she have at least 6. 5 to carry her gilded thrown upon which her bottom say and one to act as a crier constantly reminding people that she was a close personal friend of the deceased and he was like a father to her.

My memory might not be correct but I think Redford only met Mandela at a dinner party and then they had some indirect working relationship for a short while. She is most definitely not a close acquaintance of Mandela.

Yes, but she tried to make everyone believe otherwise.

We also had to pay for her to pretend she was Mr. Burns for a weekend in Virginia....

I forgot she was a Bildeberger. Lucky we didn't throw the book at her. We'd all be off "the list" for sure.

I'm worried about what was on the other half of the page of accomplishments that wasn't reported
1) Decided to raise the interest rates globally
2) Start work on operation zombie slave, their plan to zombify all of the little people
3) signed off on plans for top secret laser weapon facility which can hit people who know to much anywhere on the globe
4) Sacrificed a virgin to Satan to continue another 1000 years of Bildeberger rule.

Portrait of former Alberta premier Alison Redford hung without fanfare
Quote:
Redford, Alberta’s 14th premier, said she did not want to use a public unveiling to put her own stamp on her time in office.
“I have observed that, traditionally, those in political life are inclined to use events such as this unveiling to paint their own picture of how they want to be remembered and what they hope their legacy might be,” she said in a statement issued by the Speaker’s office.
“I am choosing not to do that.”
|
Quote:
“While the temptation to paint their own pictures and tell their own stories will be hard for some to resist, I instead choose to leave the history of my time in office to be written when time has provided a clearer perspective.
“As the author Robert Morgan once said: “Distance not only gives nostalgia, but perspective, and maybe objectivity”
