Yes. Until 6 others pop up on the main forum. There's already a box pool following your lead.

Working with the Yahoo site is a pain. Will probably use Fantrax.
What are people's preferences for the rules??

I think head-to-head would be fun. Do we want to use categories or points only? Playoffs? Divisions?

I prefer using ESPN for fantasy hockey, so head-to-head with categories sounds good to me.

If you haven't decided what base/template to use, ESPN's is both extensive (trades, waivers, free agents, bench) and user-friendly. I played my first fantasy hockey league last season on it. However I don't think league creation opens just yet, usually 1 month back from season start date.

			Hey guys.
So I made the league over on Fantrax.

That should be all the information you need to join the league. I will edit the main post when I get home.

It's 20$ buy-in, but you don't have to pay right away. Wanted to see what kind of prize payout people liked best. I was thinking top 4 get paid?

Also. Does anyone have a good site/application so I can randomize the draft selection? Then we can just do the draft in this thread and I can add the rosters in.

 Cheers!

Is this a pool where you pick once and your done or where you have to set your roster every week?

You play a head to head matchup each week, and have until 5 minutes before the start of the first game that week to change your lineup. You could lock in the same lineup every week but that might not be wise.

That sounds good. Thanks for the response.
As for the scoring, here's how it currently stands: the H2H winners are determined by whoever has the most fantasy points. I'm wondering if people would rather have that determined by whoever wins the most categories.

Right now the scoring looks like this:

 Scoring Group	Scoring Category Points
 Skaters Assists (A) 2
 Skaters Goals (G) 3
 Skaters Penalty Minutes (PIM) 0.5
 Skaters Plus/Minus (+/-) 1
Skaters Short Handed Goals (SHG)	2
Skaters Power Play Points (PPP)	1
 Goalies Goals Against (GA) -1
 Goalies Saves (SV) 0.25
 Goalies Shutouts (SHO) 5
 Goalies Wins (W) 5

But I can change that to be more specific to position/have different values, if people care.

So if a goalie makes 30 saves in a game thats worth over 7 points? Seems a little high to me

Thy are high risk high reward, they also can get slammed with a negative when letting in a few goals and being pulled
