"You used to call me on your cell phone"

...When I was wearing timberlands and a down filled jacket indoors playing imaginary ping-pong on the stairs, all the while looking forward to drooling all over Ree-Anna (don't want to know correct spelling) as she accepts a "life time" achievement award at the age of 28.

To make this interesting, it should be most hated line from a song you like. Otherwise it's just a list of songs you hate.

At least I thought it was the worst simile in music, until I heard the line "I love you like a lovesong." I have no words for how dumb that is.

I always heard that at "leopress". Which kind of made sense to me. This is weird where the misheard lyrics makes more sense than the original.

I generally do not like country music, but for some reason enjoy Carrie Underwood's "Smoke Break."

I don't know if I hate it, but this line always makes me roll my eyes: "first generation to go to college instead of driving a tractor"

Love Eminem, hate this line:
"Now you get to watch her leave
out the window/Guess that's why they call it window pane"

Rap is hilarious for fantastic but just cringe-inducing lyrics. My buddy and I have a bit of a running game of 'best rap lyrics.'

He is currently still winning with: "I get more ass than a toilet seat."

I dont even know who sang that but what a line.

I don't think that I can take it

And I'll never have that recipe again

I've always heard it as "empress". And the rest of your post.

Edit: had a listen and it actually is Olympus. And it's a ####tier lyric.

Pretty much every line from Colt 45 could win that game.

And I was stuck on Joy, that was her name
We didn't talk much
She was a nervous girl
I was a nervous boy
We stuck together like glue on glue
Dancing to an old song
Bobby Vinton's Blue on Blue
Heartache on heartache

Who was gonna be
Who would be the first to dance
Who was gonna be
Who would be the first to kiss
Under those patio lanterns

Every single second of "Patio Lanterns" is pure torture.

I feel the same about "Blurred Lines". Catchy tune, but damn the lyrics are rapey sounding.

From the brilliant mind of one Fred Durst, here's my favourite from the song "Hot Dog".....

"If I say #### two more times, that's 46 ####s in this ####ed up rhyme."

Haha, when that song first came out I remember getting into an argument with puckluck on here about how terrible that line was, which he maintained was awesome.
