Thanks, I just looked that up as well. Interesting that there's no penalty for missing on the shooting round other than you need to keep reloading and shooting until you hit all the targets or 50 seconds has elapsed. No penalty laps in this one! Also the start times are staggered based on the standings coming in so first to cross the finish line wins. We start 29 seconds back of the leader, 17 back of second and with a 10 second lead over the fourth place athlete.

The competition is delayed though and won't start until 3:15 at the earliest.

Men's diving is live on CBC and the American guy's name is..... Steele Johnson?!?! That's awesome. At least he's guaranteed a career after the olympics.

Vincent Riendeau makes it into the semi-finals in mens 10m platform diving. Maxim Bouchard is 19th (cut is 18th). Had a terrible final dive which sealed his fate. Really disappointing for Maxim - he had a terrible diving injury 5 years ago and was hospitalized for months. Worked so hard to get back here.

It gets to a point where the process is so farcical that the medal doesn't matter anymore which is unfortunate.

This is a bit out of date but it's the standard commentary for any soccer game involving Germanyhttp://www.rsssf.com/rssbest/germankit.html
