Ok, now I'm lost.
And isn't Peter some kind of Big State advocate? If that's the case, I couldn't even fake trying to be convincing on that front.

Well without accusing or anything technically 'you' wouldn't be faking anything as 'you' don't exist.

I can't stand Rachel Maddow. The very definition if the destructive nature of echo chambers.

I was curious about this so I went googling it, and those articles and their headlines are legit. However, Benen also has an opinion piece in which he discusses exactly why he believes its not hypocritical to praise one and condemn the other. I didn't watch Smith's speech, so I can't personally comment on it, but the article is worth reading before condemning him as a hypocrite.

His explanation is nonsense, and as far as I can tell just damage control for obvious hypocrisy.
A grieving mother is a grieving mother.

The key difference though is Hillarys response to Smith vs Trumps response to the Khans. One was respectful the other wasn't.

Note the author; Maddow wrote neither piece.

It's her blog, and he's her producer.
If I don't like something O-Reilly says, I might complain about Fox for providing the platform.

I struggle with this one because it comes down to how do you educate people to not believe in conspiracies. Repeatedly pushing known lies is exploitive. And if the republicans sought her out to put her up there to lie and get people on their side that would be exploitive, however if she was the driver to get up their as part of her anger and grieving process then it wouldn't be exploitive.

It speaks to a greater concern regarding exploitation in all regards. The disgust at Trump is less at the point he made, and more that he lobbed it at a grieving mother - which appears to be off-limits, for good reason.
You could also say that the response to Trump's comments on Khan are misplaced. After all, women suffer greatly in Muslim dominated societies. For Democrat supporters to be disgusted at Trump's comments, without recognizing the kernel of truth in that intent is also disingenuous. Mrs. Khan could also have used her platform to comment on the plight of women in Muslim societies.
Either a grieving mother is off limits, or she is not.

What in the article do you think criticizes the mother. I thought he attack was on the Party for putting her there.

The hypocrisy here is the commentary by Maddow's accomplices: exploitation of a grieving mother is bad when it is the RNC and acceptable if it is the DNC.

That's really not what they are saying they are saying one is exploitation and one isn't because one person was sent up to lie. Which is why it really comes back to did the republicans put her up there with the intent of her lying to rally the base. That is exploitive. If it was driven by her it wasn't.

Well, if she thought she was telling the truth, then it isn't lying...according to Clinton.
You put a grieving mother on the stage, you are exploiting her. Maddow and Co are just willing to justify it, if it suits their agenda and criticize it distastefully for the same reason.
