There used to be a boxer based out of Vegas called Les Vegas. I don't know how that fits but since we're playing with the name, I thought I'd mention it.'

Going traditional, none of the state symbols cut it: state bird = bluebird; animal = bighorn sheep; fish = trout; reptile = tortoise; insect = damselfly.

I dont know, I could see a Bighorn Sheep destroying a hockey stick with its hooves or a trout jumping out of a river with a hockey stick in its mouth.

A bighorn could easily look pretty aggressive, but as a name it's not that great. Not the worst either though.

The Rams are moving to Las Vegas anyways, can't have both teams with similar names and logo's.

The Rams are moving to Los Angeles. The Raiders might move to Vegas if a stadium ever gets built and the NFL approves the move.

I thought it was going to be Black Knights for sure but then read something about not wanting a black jersey. Couldn't they go for just the Knights then?

Or even don't have a name. Go soccer style and be the Las Vegas Hockey and Gambling Club, LVHGC for short.

Man I was literally going to suggest that! haha.


I still think they should do a throwback and do Las Vegas Wranglers.


Or at least pay homage to the Nevada landscape: Las Vegas Sand People. The logo is already built in.
