Wow...I would never have thought. Why doesn't my wife like video games so much?

Maybe they are intimidated to go to casinos (at least for anything other than slots) but are more comfortable with the anonymity of the 'net?
My wife will play Pokerstars.net (the free one) for hours.

Am I misreading it? Where does it say anything about online gambling? I took it to mean online video games.

It does mean online gaming, which would include online gambling. But I think it is more for games like WOW or something rather.

I think what they should actually look at is what kind of games they are playing online. I'm sure when we're all looking at this we're thinking of the WoW's, Starcrafts, typical gamer's games. I'm thinking that while there is a large number of women that are that type of gamer I would think that the majority would come from MSN type games.
Bejewled, Jewelquest, and some forms of online gambling (bingo and poker as has been mentioned. My girlfriend spends twice as much time as I do playing online, only she is into playing the MSN games.

Video Games
Hey yeah,
Im a woman and I love sports and video games. Some of my girl friends play video games too..I think that we like the ones that aren't as violent as the ones that men play all the time. I am a fan of the hockey and sports ones. 
I've also noticed from living in Cali that a lot more women like to head out over to Vegas and gamble, or go online and play poker.
