The scrimmages are always packed full. It's a shame there's not more seating in that facility. Definitely a good idea to get there soon if you want a seat.

Is group one still scheduled to be on the ice first? Gillies should be with that group.
It is worth mentioning that group one is the only one of the groups with two goaltenders. It appears this may have been done intentionally to work Gillies in slowly. The team may be limiting his time in the same way a baseball team will limit pitch count to a pitcher recovering from an injury. No need to rush him or over work him in a development camp.
Doh! Forgot it was scrimmage day as well.

So Gillies is on the roster that has been handed out at the event, or was that pulled off the web? If he's on the roster they're handing out he can't be injured. If he was hurt they wouldn't dress him.

I just talked to a guy sitting beside me here. He talked to Gillies as he was coming off the ice yesterday. Gillies told him he was "feeling aggravation". Wouldn't comment specifically where.

For sure, I think it was just a minor tweak. I wouldn't read too much into it at all. Also, if you ask me, Gillies is the best source for news regarding Gillies (  ). That said, I'm sure he's fine. We'll see how he does today.

I have never understood why they don't hold the scrimmage in the big rink at Martin Mcphail - they could accommodate as many spectators as show up and all would have a better view.
They added names to the sweaters this year, so for next year - get the big rink for the scrimmage Flames!

Sorry, I misspoke slightly -- I meant to say "all the forwards I was impressed with yesterday" vs. "all the defence who stood out yesterday".
In my opinion, Andersson really didn't have a good day yesterday. That could very easily be attributed to his participating in powerskating before the session.
FYI: Caged Great will be recording today's scrimmage. There is no online stream. I can't speak for him, but I imagine it will be uploaded to YouTube shortly after today's sessions.

They probably don't want them practicing on Olympic-size ice. The seating would be amazing for spectators though.
