What a way to rebuild through free agency. If at first your picks don't succeed, try, try again. Then buy some other peoples picks for a long term and big price so you can trade away your picks.
Essentially the Oil are finally going to use other peoples picks to build a team and their arena and C. McDavid.

You're absolutely right you know, its not his problem because he won't be able to keep up with them, thus being far away from them all the time.
Its like watching a porche race a coin operated rocking horse in front of a wallmart.

Clearly you don't realize how slow Lucic is. Tkachuk is literally high speed compared to him.
Lucic has a lot of really good skills, he's big, strong, tough, has great hands. But he might as well be wearing concrete on his boots.

Lucic looks bizarre with his hunchback skating. It seems to me that players with unconventional skating techniques are often the ones that drop off considerably when they age and get injured.
Glad we didn't sign him. It's one thing to be a gritty player, but he is downright dirty. It's embarrassing to employ him really.

Nothing new here, but it's remarkable how every single commentator, including the Oiler's in-house correspondent Ryan Rishaug, recognize that the back end of this contract will be a massive anchor.
The best people have said is, "Well at least Chiarelli can't be accused of sitting on his hands." Yes, I think we can all agree this signing was something. And if that's the best you can say, you have to worry if you're a fan of the team.
