Polak is grinding up sausage meat in Gdansk and selling oysters, clams and cockles in his spare time.

Almost forgot that Renato Sanchez is still on the field. Has been really invisible towards the end of the game.

Boo to both of these teams. Basically playing for penalties the last 45 minutes.

Poland have been far more cautious and boring both in this game and against Switzerland.
Two games in a row where they've played for penalties.

75 minutes. Brutal, just brutal.
Portugal has played some of the worst, most unwatchable football in this entire tournament and they drag their opponents down with them.
Do they honestly have no confidence that they can win a game?

Would be fitting for Ronaldo to miss, seeing that him and Messi tend to try to match each other's performances.

True. I gave the edge to Portugal because that Croatian game may well have been the worst game ever played.

I do not understand why Poland decides to sit back after leading, they have shown they can score when they push. Sure, you have a 50/50 chance if you're going to penalties, but you have a 90% chance of winning if you can go up 2-0.

Really sucks Italy and Germany are going to play a great game with each team pushing to win, and one of them has to go home while Portugal has effectively ####ed off all tournament and is in good shape to make the Final.

Much as I hate that bitch Ronaldo, Poland didn't deserve to win playing so passively for the last 90 minutes. Going for the coin flip only works every time for Anton Chigurh.

watching an entire 120-minute match where Pepe is man of the match really makes you question yourself

I don't know what match you watched, but Portugal tried to attack. But hard to score when your opponent plays 10-0-0 formation... So happy Poland and their antifootball is out.
Other than the game against Croatia, I thought Portugal played well this tournament. But they lack a striker...badly.
