If someone was willing to overpay, but I can't see the need to get rid of him just to get rid of him.
He might be slightly overpaid, but not so much that's a current problem.

That was my thought as well. The Dan Quinn treatment.
I think Bouma was one of our best cards to play in the Lucic discussions (if any were had) as they are buddies.

Still could since Steinberg only says the Flames were shopping him at the deadline.
Maybe things have changed, or maybe we're still looking to move Bouma.

Don't understand why we'd want to make this trade. Sure he's maybe $700,000 overpaid but is that really that significant? He's all heart and I'd be sad to see him go.

Would you guys do Lance Bouma for Yakupov? Not sure what the Oilers need, but I would think Bouma would be an improvement on their bottom 6.
Edit: Dang, just saw the posts above mine. So I'm not the only one thinking it.
