The belief is #CBJ want Puljujarvi, not Patrik Laine. And if the Jets take Puljujarvi, the Jackets will try to trade 3rd overall.
|
So does the dim bulb out of Tampa.
And also, what? Whose belief is that? Mr. Contrarian's?

I mean...not all those moves ended up being great, but overall I don't know that in recent years draft day has been disappointing.

Most of those deals were underwhelming for me, personally. The only one I was really excited about was Bouwmeester but that one didn't have any hype leading up to it like this has. Twitter age + Treliving are a match made in heaven.

Tkachuk? I can't imagine anything else. From a young age, they have people scrutinizing nutrition/exercise/health care for them. Once they're retired, I would imagine it's the first time since they were a child that they have full control of their entire lives. It's no wonder a lot of them just let goooooo......

Precisely why I stated I'm not sure how reliable he is. Everything I've seen or heard would indicate it's the opposite and that CBJ is waiting to see if Laine slips.

RNH for Dubnyk is what MacT likely would have done.

But we're in Buffalo. I think they just call them wings here.
Then I'll have some wings here.

I hope we never see a two-person panel featuring Lawton and McGuire. The creepiness would be enough to demolish the planet.

I'd almost think the Oilers add? They're the ones looking to move $6m

Honestly sometimes feels like some GMs are overthinking this draft. I like all 3 guys at the top but I think there is a clear ranking 1-2-3 - and anyone that deviates from that could regret it. And I pity the team that trades out of 3. I think that will be a mistake. Hopefully one the Flames benefit from.

The thing is, you dont want anyone the Oilers have drafted. Once they've been drafted by the Oilers they're garbage. Maybe a pick, but not anyone actually selected by Oiler scouting staff.
