Fitting as it was the Canucks who complained about the Leafs and Ron Wilson tampering back in 2009. He did the same thing Benning just did right before free agency in regards to the Sedins.

Burke had to deal with that mess, hopefully he's the one who filed charges here. haha

The Canucks filed a complaint when Burke's comments at the draft surfaced during the recent broadcast of a documentary on Leafs about the Toronto GM .

Burke said that Vancouver was shopping Alex Burrows and Kevin Bieksa, who are still with the Canucks.

Uh, HATE those guys. Pratt and Jake are two of the most egotistical blowhards on radio. I'm sure Pratt had a throbbing forehead vein all morning when talking about it.

I only listen to the afternoon squad. Don't always agree with their hockey viewpoints but at least they are entertaining, and MacDonald does a decent interview. Also don't mind the Ferraro segments - he's had a bad rap on CP but I like the insights from his playing days and his between-the-benches job.

Agreed. If I had to take a drink whenever they refer to someone as "Baby" I'd be dead an hour into their time slot.

Pratt, especially, is a huge brown-noser for anyone in Canucks management. Not surprised to hear he was down-playing the tampering charge.

They are terrible. It boggles the mind how either one of them continue to get work on the radio. I kind of love that Pratt was fired from his last gig in Vancouver because of a very public dispute he had with Brian Burke while he was the Canucks GM.

I'm half convinced Benning did this on purpose. My theory is he is being held hostage in Vancouver and cant find a way out of his contract, so he is intentionally trying to get fired.

Although this would assume Dim Jim was smart enough to come up with this plan, which all previous stupid actions would say otherwise. UNLESS all of those were an attempt to get fired and he still couldn't get fired so he had to resort to breaking NHL rules.

Either way, great entertainment, would recommend
