Rory lasted longer than I thought he would, honestly.

I'd be good with Rory leaving MMA. His fight against Lawler at 189 is one of the best fights I've ever watched.

After weeks of speculation and rumor, we’re now getting word that the UFC has been sold for an impressive 4.2 billion dollars. Flosports.tv’s Jeremy Botter was the first to report the sale:

IMO he should have just stayed retired.

If he's the same fighter who left 3 years ago, he smothers Lawler on the ground and is champion again. Also, he destroys the USADA deflated Jonny Hendricks, imo

Think he'll be in tough to make 170 again.
Health wise I wished GSP would have stayed retired, his last three fights against Condit, Diaz and Hendricks saw him take way too much damage.

Coincidentally, I am flying to LV on the 9th. How hard will it be to get tickets?

There's still quite a few left on Ticketmaster if you're willing to pay no less than $655 US for one in the second level. Stubhub has one for $455.

Sounds like GSP wants to return against Bisping for the title.
Kinda makes sense and allows him to pick his spot a little.

Of the recent 185 pound champs, I feel that Bisping would be the "easiest" match up for GSP.

Might be why he is picking now to comeback.

I kinda feel like he may be picking a spot here too.
UFC gets to bill the fight as the "First fighter ever to 20 UFC Career wins" (Bisping and GSP both have 19 wins), and it's a title shot.
GSP gets the chance to get the 20 wins record, a title in a 2nd division, and does it against Bisping who in all likelihood he outclasses.
He can do all that, win the fight, and then retire again if he wants with one last big payday and some records to add to his resume.

I agree with you 100%. GSP is looking for super-fights. I believe he had every intention of fight McGregor, until Nate killed that deal. Bisping is the only fight that even comes close to a "super-fight", but even I think it's not that super.

If GSP takes the title from Bisping, the next fight is against Silva.

I hope not. Silva is 0-3-1 in his last 4 fights. He hasn't won a fight in 4 years and is 41 years old.

Ya, Silva doesn't deserve the winner of GSP-Bisping

GSP beats Bisping, then drops down to 170, beats Lawler and retires with two belts.
