You know what's going to be immensely satisfying next week? After seeing Winterfell first as a smoking husk, and then with the Bolton banner for so long? Finally seeing the Stark's banners on Winterfell in the opening credits next week.
it'll be that way for a few weeks before it turns into a mockingbird.
any predictions on how they make the Euron/Dany meeting any sort of challenge, beyond him proposing and Drogon just gulping him down whole? there's got to be more to that guy than just being a weirdo and a big talker.
Oh I imagine the price to pay for help is going to cost her. And Littlefinger worms into another throne, except a more prominent one. Hopefully Sansa has the wherewithal to remove "Snow" from Jon's name and add "Stark". As far as I can tell, she's the only one to do that since nobody knows Bran is still alive.
That was easily one of my top 3 episodes of the series. Just amazing action and progress all the way through.
the battle scene where all the chaos is happening around Jon really made me think of Saving Private Ryan's beach landing. Just a ####show all over the place.

Was Sansa there when Littlefinger tossed Lady Arryn out the moon door? I think she was, but I can't recall for sure. If she was, I bet Sansa out schemes Littlefinger and little Lord Robert will find out what really happened to his mother.

Littlefinger's a devious ####, but Sansa has seen through him now. I don't think she's going to get played again, as crafty as Littlefinger is.
I really have no idea how Euron plans to sweeten the pot. If all he's got is 1,000 ships vs. 100, I doubt that's enough.
That was the most satisfying episode in quite some time.
The battle scenes were beautifully constructed.

Considering the backstory Sansa has, and how every single man has basically screwed her over, it would be the ultimate victory if she emerged on top after all is said and done.

Most shocking episode of Game of Thrones yet. Good guys win, bad guys die
Yeah, next week we will find out it was actually a dream sequence. Some one will wake up and then we will see what really happened. The 2 little dragons were mad at Dany for chaining them up and eat her. Then Bolton releases Rickon, only to have him kill Jon before the battle can even start.
I do recall GRRM talking about the whole good guy bad guy thing and trying to find an end point where the war is over. He mentioned that where this story starts is basically right after the last war ended. There really is no end to wars. Time moves on, things happen.

There are some rise of women from chains themes throughout the show. The lord of light functions through the red women.
Danaryous overthrow of the masters and doth rake
Theons sister
Arya
And now Sansa
Even Caitlyn Stark, Cersai and Margery to some degree
All living in Men's worlds deciding that they will be the power brokers in their own lives
Very predictable episode, but still good. You knew Rickon was going to die when he runs back to Jon. You knew the Giant was going to die. You knew Sansa's secret army was going to show up. BTW, dick move by Sansa keeping that army secret. Could have told Jon about it and saved many unnecessary deaths.
