Yeah that high boot should have been called. That was really dangerous with studs up to the back of his shoulder/neck. Probably should have been a yellow to go with it.

Handball is 50/50, it was off a Belgium clearance and was clearly ball to hand.

Yeah too bad on the no penalty. Different game at 1-0 Ireland although Belgium just have too much quality.

This is where blowing it against Sweden really hurts. Beating Italy now might not even be enough. At least Italy has nothing to play for now as this clinches the group for them.

2 goals as a result of committing to tackles and not making it.

Sorry Ireland fans, but as a neutral, I cannot stand watching them, and always cheer for an early exit. Everyone in their own box and then punt it long is horrible to watch. Plus the time wasting 15 minutes into a match...

Interesting...TSN just showed the replay of Nani getting red carded in champions league a couple years ago for a high foot in the middle of the pitch, and it just so happened to be the same ref as the one in today's match, where there was no call whatsoever.

Funny because I just happened to think of that exact foul when I saw this one today, but didn't know it was the same ref obviously.

Not gonna complain. Belgium started in full gear and never let up. A huge gulf in class between both teams, and they deserved to win.

This Iceland Goalkeeper is not very good, hes come out for 2 balls that hes gotten nowhere near and hes spilled the last 3 shots that have come at him, even though they werent very good.

If I'm Hungary I'm firing on this clown from everywhere.

100% on the Iceland bandwagon. A population of 330,000. That'd basically be like throwing together a SW Calgary selects team into the Euro Cup. Just insane.

Not sure if he thought the wall was gonna jump, but that was a poor free kick.
