It was a troll, but I do genuinely admire someone taking such a strong counter-culture position in this era of enforced conformity.

So it wasn't a troll? Or is this one just a super-sized troll? I am all for free speech, but those that spew nonsense need to be prepared for ridicule. That has nothing to do with counter-culture or enforced conformity.

Super-sized, this is where Peter avoids siding with the lady who hates us vile homosexuals, but turns his point into a lament about the continued persecution of those with faith in God, and society's role in taking away the right to religious freedom by forcing everyone into a new thought-less pseudo liberal monstrosity.
Or something like that. The last part might just be Corsi. If you just watch it without getting sucked in, it's super fun!

I hear you and it can be fun. I do enjoy a good discussion on the old interweb.
It is a bit of a riddle how Pete sees counter-culture and enforced conformity and somehow ends up with the religious right taking on the counter-culture role, and the LGBT community as enforcers of conformity!

Let's not get into this, but this might be where we talk about that thought-less anti-liberal monstrosity currently coming about in our decadent liberal society.
EDIT: for badness.

Article also includes discussion from the gym:

While it may not have been intentional, Ms. Vecchio's attire was not as modest as she has suggested via the images she shared recently on Facebook and through media interviews, and caused multiple members to feel uncomfortable and voice their concerns to our staff. Following Ms. Vecchio's own social media postings on this matter, we conducted a thorough investigation which included first-hand accounts from members and other staff, and a follow-up meeting with Jenna herself, who seemed to leave the facility feeling as though she had expressed her position. Upon conclusion of our interviews, we stand by the original decision that confirms that Ms. Vecchio was dressed inconsistently with our code of conduct. The Movati staff never indicated Ms. Vecchio's style of shirt was not appropriate – it was the lack of coverage that was the issue as she exercised adjacent to other members. While in no way did we mean to embarrass Ms. Vecchio, we did feel it necessary to address the situation with her due to member discomfort. Although our staff were professional and discreet in their approach, and followed our process of not asking a member to leave or conclude a workout, she and her husband chose to escalate the matter publicly.

I think I stand by the gym on this one. It sounds like they conducted an investigation and determined that what she was actually wearing during the incident was not what she posted on social media. If multiple people were complaining, I highly doubt she was wearing what she claims she was. Add in the fact that she's got the news on her story and there is a good chance she is exaggerating.
Why is it that everything has to be a justice fight? Some people at the gym complained that they were uncomfortable by her attire. Why is it so unreasonable to change then? Obviously there was some sort of issue with what she was wearing. I hate how everyone needs to make a stand these days on the littlest of things that happen in day to day life.

It's the new religion. Makes people feel good to join a group in denouncing and shaming others.

A t-shirt? At the GYM? Oh, the humanity!

I'd say the onus is on the gym to back up their claim that she was not indeed dressed as that picture represents. The attire in the picture is totally and completely fine for the gym in my opinion.

Then the next day's headline would be " I was stalked/photographed by transgenders/creeps at gym"!!"

I would like to see these pictures as much as the next guy, but... I don't think I would really appreciate a gym posting images of the members to judge the modesty of the tank top.

Oh, sorry, I didn't actually mean that they publish the pictures. I'm just assuming there is a security camera or something that the gym could use to support their assertion (i.e. to the human rights lawyer).

Contacted a human rights lawyer? Oh FFS. First world problems.
Seems to me a private business/clubs can set rules regarding attire. Not sure however.

I'm struggling to understand the perspective of someone who would complain about her attire, even if it was more revealing than shown in the picture. I mean, what...are you worried you're accidentally going to pop wood because of these jugs?

What's more likely:
Gym decides to randomly pick out women and force her to leave, despite wearing the pictured outfit, because...... they want to loose money and clients, and waste their time doing an investigation and STILL sticking to their claim instead of issueing an apology.....
OR
Women is wearing something (even the same outfit pulled down in the front) that was exposing her cleavage and made some member's uncomfortable, and said women then goes on an internet tirade and is a drama queen.... Because forbid a private establishment asked her to cover up to use their facility.
I'm torn who to believe!
