I feel like there are some holes that have formed in the story line this season.. but I think that is the price they have to pay to advance the story the way they want to. It was pretty cool to see Sansa and Jon reunited, I was shocked when the doors opened and there she was.
Only way to bring jon into the conflict?

Ramsay is a gong show who will murder anyone at any time. The umbers may prefer to have the starks, or themselves lead the north. Rickon might be collateral damage unfortunately.

What's happening with the Tully's of Riverrun? Edmure was held captive IIRC but that Blackfish fellow escaped the Red Wedding. Certainly those guys would have a bone or two to pick with the Boltons.

Regardless House Arryn and the entire Vale was left untouched by the War of the Seven Kings and are now marching to help Jon Snow, that's a big army I'd imagine.

Seriously. What happened to the Blackfish? He escaped the Red Wedding and was never heard from again.

edit: wait, did you edit that in or did I just retype what you said?

He's hanging out with Gendry, Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, Benjen Stark and Arya's direwolf

Maybe Benjen shows up as a leader of the White Walkers.

I think this is how Stannis shows up.

I think Benjen shows up at the end to confirm the identity of Jon.

I don't think we can count a Littlefinger-controlled army under any specific side. that's about as reliable as when Ned asked him to recruit the city watch for his throne room coup. if he believes the Bolton/Karstark/Umber side has a better chance of coming out on top and rewarding him with additional lands and titles, then that's who he'll go with (for about 2 days, before finding an excuse to screw them over as well).

I also think that his choice of words to "enter the fray" were a little too coincidental. must mean something! last we heard the Freys are on the Bolton side, though would that have changed at all with the recent devouring of Walder's daughter and grandson?

I don't believe that Littlefinger merely sides with whoever has the best chance of winning. The guy craves power and manipulates others to get it. Ramsey isn't someone who can be easily manipulated. Nor do I think he is someone who likes taking orders. Ramsey is too unpredictable and I imagine Littlefinger sees Sansa/Jon as a convenient way to remove him from the equation.

What about the Tullys? Does Frey still have Edmure and are they going to bring back the uncle that escaped the Red Wedding?

So Brienne pretty much put to rest any thoughts of her not killing Stanis.

2. The Incredible, Combustible Dothraki Roundhouse - so this stone and dirt floored structure bursts into uncontrollable flames by a few coals being spilled on the ground? Did they spray the ground with oil to keep down the dust?

I am glad, though, that there's a chance that the Daenerys storyline might actually progress, that we finally had a Stark scene that brought mist to my eyes from something other that tragedy, and that we might be moving toward a confrontation that will bring an end to Ramsay. I've had enough of the token "Did you know Ramsay is a psychopath?" scene jammed into ever other episode.

I figured that was pre setup by Jorah, whatever the other guys name is and the other Khaleesi that they enlisted. The meeting took place where all the old widows live I thought, so I assumed they spread some kind of flammable around the place before hand, otherwise the whole "we can't escape but maybe you can help me do something bigger" talk isn't really needed.

I think for someone in Littlefinger's position, someone like Ramsay is easy to predict. He's an inexperienced ruler and a mad dog killer with a tremendous lust for power, Littlefinger knows if he dangles temptation in Ramsay's face, Ramsay will snap it up, take it to a dungeon and threaten to cut bits of it off. The Bolton's hold on the north has been almost completely ruined by Ramsay's recent actions and Littlefinger finds himself in an excellent position to capitalize, which sounds like classic Littlefinger to me. I think Ramsay is going to be dead very soon.

I think a flammable substance would have had an odor that would have been noticed by someone. Dany is one of the most magical creatures in the GoT world, maybe she just assumed the flames would bend to her will.

So two outsiders found a whole bunch of accelerant, snuck into an important building alone in the middle of the khalesaar (sp?) unseen, doused it, snuck back out, and yet were awestruck when Danaerys walked out alive. And all of that happened offscreen.

Hi all, below I have linked for you a compilation video of Olly's greatest moments in Game of Thrones. Plucky, headstrong, and everyone's favourite little brother, there are many great moments to reminisce.
