Credit where credit is due........Dickey has been fantastic tonight.
And nice to see Tulo get another HR. He really needs to get going consistently at the plate.

Dickey will have these games, we've seen it before. It's the unpredictably of him that drives me crazy! But yes good game.

Too bad he couldn't pitch the entire game, but 111 pitches is enough. Fantastic outing.

Dickey looked great today. Nice to see the Jays put some hits together later in the game too.
Now 1 game over .500 over what has been a really tough schedule for the Jays so far.
Now we just need some consistency from our batters.
I like how Gibby is going with Barney over Goins, he brings a marginally better bat with comparable defence.
Bautista over last 15 games .157 avg. with .262 on base. Yikes. Need him to start heating up.

Dickey always sucks in April due to the cold weather. Colder weather causes the Knuckler to be straighter and it doesn't have the same movement. When it's warmer out, like playing in Texas, it dances. That's part of the reason why Dickey was a beast in the 2nd half last year.

Don't the Jays typically play with the roof closed at the start of the year?

Dickey's ERA creeping closer to respectable now at 4.31 and that's including a few very rough outings. Very important he keeps it going.

The last time through the rotation the Jay's starters went 36.2 innings for a average of almost 7 and 1/3rd innings per start with a 0.98 era.

Estrada off to a rocky start. His pitches look shaky so far, he's afraid of the stroke zone.
