It's pretty amazing the Dems are more likely to go all the way to a convention given the cluster#### of the GOP race. Also speaks to Bernie's delusion but so be it.

I know everyone loves to hate Trump because it's the cool thing to do, but in my opinion Ted Cruz was far and away the biggest slime ball in this election. It is not a sad day that he has dropped out.

Ted Cruz is pretty equivalent to Trump. That is probably why the two of them lasted so long.
Watching Trump switch his focus to Hillary should make for some great tv now.

Bernie's leading in Indiana. He also has a secondary motive of getting his message out and possibly changing the Democrats agenda. That isn't deluded unless all you see is the surface.

Wow. You don't usually show your colours so much. He may not win, but his campaign is still very strong. Funding alone should tell you that.

Actually funding alone tells me that money, contrary to what Bernie thinks, can't buy you much in an election. He's significantly outspent her in the last two months and is essentially exactly where he was two months ago. He's run against a historically unpopular candidate and will still lose pretty easily. Plus now his insufferable supporters will keep going for another month to try and see if they can do the impossible and become more annoying than Trump supporters.

If she was that unpopular she wouldn't be the favourite for the last couple of years to be the next President. Bernie has been fighting an uphill battle from the start and has done well under the circumstances and has changed the talking points but I guess that's too deep for you to get.
Don't forget when you call his supporters insufferable, you're insulting some of us posters as well.

Clay Davis had has been super anti Sanders for a while here now on these forums. Not sure why he put such a bee in his bonnet. Especially since he seems to be supporting the political weather vane that is Hillary Clinton.

Hillary is terrible, so is Bernie. They are all terrible, Americans basically are choosing degrees of bad. Bernie has done well but he's still going to be an after thought by September. Bernie loves to scream about the problems without actually providing any solutions. I also am just sick and tired of blaming Wall Street and billionaires for all the problems, yet he seems to be missing one critical piece to that puzzle that sort of blows his argument that it's all Wall Street's fault (it's actually shareholders aka millions of American's faults).

Hillary started this thing out thinking that she was a shoe-in, but it has been a fight for her life every step of the way. She is a weak candidate, and by no means should she look at Trump as an easy win. I am almost willing to hope for a Trump Presidency just to see her denied it.

Bernie also has been historically unchallenged as a candidate (as has Trump). Those two newspaper sitdowns were the only time they even slightly got taken to task over the platforms, and they both predictably looked way in over their heads. When the media starts to go hard after both their ideas will totally fall apart. Especially Bernie once you start telling people their taxes will be going up to pay for his plans. They generally like his ideas until you get to that part.

I'm quite torn over who I'd rather watch in a concession speech.

Taxes can pay for his plan without going way up. If you look at the Panama leaks alone, there are trillions of dollars that are being hidden from taxation. That's only from the privately rich. This doesn't even account for all the corporate tax loopholes that have been introduced. Get money out of politics, collect the right taxes and the regular American will benefit greatly.
Which one of the candidates is actually advocating this though? Not Clinton.

Well Wall Street and the billionaires use the system to get what they want. Can't blame them but it just goes to show that the system needs to be changed. Hillary isn't going to change it and Donald won't either. Bernie can try and at least put the problem out in the open because if it isn't changed, at some point the economy will probably collapse.

It's actually funny how poor a campaigner and candidate she is. Rolled by Obama when she thought she was a shoe-in ... Then had to have all the leverage of the DNC and still had to cling on early against the farthest left Candidate in like 40 years when she thought she was a shoe-in lol
If she wasn't eventually going up against whatever disaster was coming out of the republican primaries this year, she'd probably get whipped in the general too.

The concept that Bernie has been in this race is ridiculous. She isn't clinging to early leads. She's mopped the floor with him. Sanders was done on Super Tuesday. Had he come back from that point it would have been the greatest comeback in a democratic primary ever. The media has artificially created a contest to get ratings.
At no point in this race did Bernie ever have a chance.

Because of the super delegates, it was a lot closer in state by state early on.
