We'll need a wall from NB to BC to keep the fleeing Americans out and Trump can pay for it.

Since this is the conspiracy election, I'm gonna go off the board and suggest Trump is paying these protesters to go insane so that it brings him sympathy and victimizes him. Maybe I don't want to believe those protesters are so stupid as to hand Trump easy points.

This whole "America" thing isn't working very well right now.

As much as I think Trump supporters are ridiculous, that protester in the black mask coming at him aggressively and then pointing at him in front of the cameras like he's innocent when the Trump guy squared up really pisses me off.

Do not come at someone in an aggressive pose and act like a lamb when they prepare to defend themselves.

All of those anti trump people were acting like total savages. I mean I hate the guy and all but they were ready to rip that guy limb from limb. I don't care if he incited them by wearing a hat and cutting right thru their protest chanting trump. That is not an excuse to violently accost someone.

If things like this keep happening how long before someone pulls a gun and claims self defence after a shooting?

This is sad to see.

California has the largest number of illegal immigrants in the United States,I wonder how many of the flag waiving protesters are illegals with no constitutional rights of their own. Pretty much all the people in that video other than the journalists and police were equally ######ed.

There really ought to be more organised means of public protest. One area for protestors who want to have reasonable discussion, one for those who just want to hold signs and sing together and another area where foam bats are provided for people who just want to get in a fight.

When I see protesters getting violent, it's pretty stupid and takes away from their argument. I have no sympathy for them but on the other hand, Trump has been inciting violence from the get go, so what do you expect.

No excuse for any of it

A new poll suggests that a race for president between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could yield the lowest support for a Republican candidate among young voters in decades.

The survey, conducted by the Harvard University Institute of Politics, finds that in a hypothetical matchup, 61% of likely voters age 18-29 say they would vote for Clinton, while just 25% would vote for Trump. That's worse than most other recent Republican candidates for president.
Quote:
Before asking about the current crop of candidates, the survey asked young Americans if they would prefer a Democrat or a Republican win the next election. The share saying they'd like a Democrat to win has climbed from 55% last spring to 61% now, while the percentage who favored a Republican dipped from 40% to 33%.

I actually think that a Clinton/Trump contest will be the low point in American Democracy. Both in turnout and in general ####tiness.

I think the same. I just don't see either candidate as being a good choice. Personally I wouldn't vote for either of them and would probably just stay home. I hate Hilary and don't want to see her win but I also couldn't support Trump.

It's about so much more than just the president, though. It's about who picks several SCOTUS judges. It's about thr downcard races and trying to flip the house/senate away from GOP power.

I don't want Trump picking SCOTUS judges and I don't want to continue letting GOP legislators halt necessary progress in this country.

Obama was pretty damn funny at the White House Correspondent's Dinner tonight.

One of my favorite jokes tonight and a crowd favorite was when he addressed the GOP members at the dinner. "On the Republican side, things are a little more loose. Just look at the confusion over the invitations to tonight's dinner. Guests were asked to check if they wanted steak or fish but a whole bunch of you wrote in Paul Ryan. That's not an option people. You may not like steak or fish but that is your choice."

If Hillary becomes President I think the Dinner will pale in comparison. Instead of humour from her we will just got more unnecessary yelling.
