Personal insult?
I think you're taking that a bit too personally. The point was that if you're getting all built up for some major super exciting mind blowing season and then you saw that episode, yeah you'd be let down. Not sure how that is a personal insult. From your posts it is evident that you spend a lot of time speculating and reading news and fansites and speculation and rumour etc. Sounds to me like your expectations got the best of you.

2) What is the right thing here though? Protecting a dead body? Avenging him against the Nights Watch? I am so confused, why the heck does he care so much about a body? Because somebody needs to watch over it for a few episodes until he is resed, it is just sooooo sloppy and again convenient.
3) They killed off multiple major characters in about 30 seconds. There was no hint or tip to us that the people of Dorne actually hated Doran. All of a sudden they just kill him and one stab to the back is enough to kill his body guard who apparently from last season we should gather is one of the best fighters in the world based on his comment to Jamie Lannister. Sloppy, convenient. One of the crappy sand snakes killed a guy who claims he could go toe to toe with the second best swordsman we know of, second only to Selmy.
4) This one I can kind of agree with, I get it they are all about honor and code, it was just funny how it went from 60 mph to 0 in like a split second. Aka the step brothers syndrome. This one I can change my mind on because it will further he chances of proving her worth to the dothraki so they follow her.
I guess I am just upset because this show has big shoes to fill based on previous seasons and I feel like with this episode they semi mailed it in. I am confident that the destination will be great, but I want the journey to be just as great.

I get where youre coming from.
Heres a few thoughts:
1. Why didnt Ramsey go with them? I'm guessing it has to do with his elevation in status. Hes a Bolton now not a Basterd so he cant just go off chasing people with his dogs anymore and they just fought a major battle and eliminated a significant enemy.
2. I think the reason Ser Davos is so preoccupied with Jon's body is because he thinks he can get Red Lady to magic him back to life. I know theres all the Old Gods and the New' and I'm not going to even lie about knowing which is which and who raises who from the dead, but you've got Red Lady, you've got the priest in Mereen doing Red God propaganda and I think, if I'm not mistaken, that crazy witch lady who reincarnated Drogo did so with Red magic?
So I'm guessing Davos thinks whatsherface is going to Magic him back to life, but to do that she needs the body. Thats my guess.
3. Not touching Dorne. Dont know what the hell is going on there but I was hoping Dr. Bashir was going to start bashing skulls and Big Dude was a waste. All I get out of that is: "political and military instability."
4. Its not that I dont think he believed her about all her titles and crap, he just didnt care. So when he does a complete 180 I figured it was becaus when he says to her that Widows of Khals go to somethingorother Dothrakis, that this is like 'Valhalla.' Its not a real place, its just a ceremonial way of saying 'I'm not going to have sex with you, now I'm going to kill you.'
I wasnt too stoked about Jamie all of a sudden becoming the 'we'll kill everyone who isnt us' guy. I feel like this is George setting the Lannisters up for a fall. Other than incest and political infighting they're just not really all that good at anything and without money or political power they'd be nobodies, and their money and political power are dwindling, so it seems like its a 'we'll kill you all' and then they promptly get slaughtered.

Lol no you are missing my point I will say it again, I am not expecting the episode to be mind blowing and I have no problem with the way they advanced the story. I am defending that part in fact despite others saying it was slow. I have a problem with the manner in which they did it, I feel like it was for lack of a better term sloppy. Especially compared to how we have seen things written in the past. We will agree to disagree on this one as you can't seem to get my point.

haha now who is using personal insults?
I get your point. But yeah I'm responding to both you and Yamer at the same time. Fact of the matter is that if your only complaints are those four points...well then I don't have much else to say as I feel I've addressed those sufficiently. You keep going on about sloppy writing and them being burnt out but I just don't see it. That's why I keep saying that you must be expecting some crazy amazing super exciting storyline. I just don't see where you're getting the criticisms from otherwise.

King's Landing is so uninteresting at this point, hopefully with Franken-Mountain it picks up but all the cool characters and plots have vanished. Suppose that's how the Religions nuts have picked up steam I suppose, bit of a leadership vacuum there.
Stuff in the north was awesome. Ser Davos is a king among men.
Enjoyed the Dorne stuff.

I legitimately got chills when Ellaria said "Your son is weak just like you, and weak men will never rule Dorne again"
I want Dorne to be a power

The prince was on the same ship with Jamie and Myrcella, they showed him boarding with them in last season's finale. No idea how/when the Sand Snakes got to him, it didn't show them on the same boat.

As I recall, and my memory is hazy at best, that he went with Myrcella and Jamie to join the small council but stabbymcwhatsherface sent her two Sand Snakes on a separate, faster ship so they'd be there before Jamie and Myrcella because this was the plan all along?

No it's a real place. They live in (and basically run) the only Dothraki city. Because the Dothraki are a nomadic people, the widows (and their servants) are the only permanent residents of the city.
We see the Khals' widows in season one. They're the ones who approve Dany's marriage to Drogo (when she eats the horse's heart): http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Dosh_khaleen

I enjoyed the premiere, but some sloppy writing. As others have pointed out how did the sand snakes get on the boat? What happened to the hounds chasing Sansa?

So...what you're telling me is that Dany could go to this Dothraki widow City and potentially recruit an army of grizzled old war widows? Who needs Unsullied when theres potentially an army like that out there?
3 dragons and a few thousand Dothraki War Widows? Westeros wouldnt stand a chance!
The White Walkers would be like:

interesting. My thinking was in line with Locke's too, I figured it was just a symbolic name for them dying too.

LoL wow I never even thought about the dogs, where did they go? Maybe they just ran away when the fighting started.

It just bothers me because Theon specifically says "I have seen what his hounds can do" before they crossed the river.

I don't think Brienne murdering dogs makes for good TV. I think we can assume they were killed.
