Anisimov is going to be seeing that pass in his nightmares if the Hawks lose this

I think he thinks it's non-contact though, and it's weird. That's all.

he certainly leaves you wanting more on that side of things but to say he has been brutal...a puck hopped on him at the blue line it happens to everyone

There's being soft and there's a glaring lack of intensity. Gives up on battles way too easily. He did have those two nice stretch passes in OT though, to Tarasenko a few minutes ago and the one to Steen earlier. Little outweighed by all his turnovers though.
I'm no Bouwmeester hater, he just looks so odd out there when everyone around him is giving 110%

I'd rather a positional low-contact defenceman like Bouwmeester over a high contact always out of place Phaneuf.
Bouwmeester is good and smart, he was just overpaid while he was here so a lot of people irrationally hate him.

I'm so torn on this one.
Part of me wants the Hawks to lose this one and bow out in 5.
Part of me wants the Hawks to win and this series to go long and punishing so that DAL has a better chance vs the victor next round.
Hmmmm. I find myself cheering for STL even thought CHI winning may be the better result for the Flames getting a 1st.

I am already on FOUR different BP pills...this BS doesn't help!
Now another OT period...but, at least I am now home from work, and can yell at my TV instead of having to stream on a minimized screen...

That's probably more Lehtera than Tarasenko or Schwartz. Tarasenko is a defensive beast. I suppose they could double shift him with Stastny or Backes though.
Speaking of which, Stastny and Backes have been damn good in this series.

STL wins it but has so much time between games they lose their edge

Honestly I'd just like to see a playoffs without CHI or LAK going long for once in forever. So, go STL.

Cal fan...the non calls have gone both ways...I don't think the Blues can get a zone entry without a pick (like on Fabbri's goal )And Backes "defending" Toews with constant cross checks off the puck, have been nearly ridiculous, all game long.
Clearly, short of mass murder, or an accidental Delay of game, clearance over the glass, the whistles are firmly in the referee's pockets.

For all the JBo haters...how do you rationalize the fact EVERY NHL Coach he's played for has played him a TON!... Including Hitch.
He's soft, yes...but to suggest he sucks is plain ignorant.

It's definitely gone both ways, puck was just on St. Louis' stick more in OT1 so the Chicago non-calls were more evident.
