Exactly, he just doesn't have that next gear, ergo he sucks. This game is about 50x more intense than he likes. His favourite type of game is regular season game #53 vs. the Oilers. That's his favourite and about the right level of intensity.

There are certain players in this league that you just....play.
As much as you can.
Most are defensemen, but Tarasenko is among an ELITE group of 1st line F's that makes it stupid to worry about who you prefer hmi against. He can make anyone in the league look foolish.
Weird decision.
