You sure can see the speed and the skill on that goal. Only one game, only one goal, but you can't coach or instill that kind of talent. I wonder how much Yzerman was demanding before the trade deadline because I bet there will be some GMs wishing they had made a deal for Drouin when they could.

I think he got significant offers but I bet they were mostly for picks/prospects and I think Yzerman wanted more immediate help.

Maybe that's what is bugging you? Certainly understandable.

I don't know who that is, but I dunno. To me it seems like everything he says is just what he's been told to say by someone else. Listening to him talk about Drouin when this first went down, you might as well have been talking to Drouin's dad. Listened to him talk about Therrien the other day and same sort of feel.

None of what he says seems to be his own thoughts. That might be wrong, just the way it sounds to me.
