The purpose of quoting stats is to analyse. Which we all do. It's also possible to counter without being an ass.
Agree kinda looks like it just proves the Lightning point.

We know you can put up a PPG but can you do better at not allowing 2 goals against every game as well.

I don't think I was an ass at all and it's more a matter of you having thin skin. Remember you made this post which was nothing more than assumption;

You came to the conclusion he was selfish based on his +/- so you aren't going to win this argument so I suggest you let it go and if you don't like being called out on a baseless assumption I suggest you stop doing it to others as you have done in the past.

Of course they are going to utilize him if he can help the team. That doesn't make everything else just disappear though.

Winning can make a lot vanish.
A guy on the Fan was just saying, if Drouin comes back and gets plunked on the 4th line again, nothing is solved.
If he skates in the top 9, and produces, then all this likely becomes water under the bridge.

Not sure that warranted a snippy reply, but fill your boots. I was just trying to discuss the topic at hand.

I will be eager to see how he does. I imagine both he and his agent know that he has to work hard and produce, but also do his best to fit in and work within Cooper's system. If it works out, everything that has happened is water under the bridge - until his contract negotiations anyways.

It means that he thinks that your argument is bad since you seem to be projecting the value of this opinion from only the basis that it belongs to a radio personality. In other words: "Radio guy" is right because he is on the radio—only, I don't think that was your point.

Alright guys, we can stop talking around it. "Radio guy" was Renaud Lavoie.

If you're just quoting someone rather than plagiarizing them, and not even naming who they are, it's hardly an appeal to authority. Just giving credit to whoever had an original thought.

If it was Lavoie, then we have every reason to believe that he knows quite a lot more about Drouin's situation than any of the rest of us.

Thanks, wasn't intentionally leaving his name out - caught the interview halfway through and never heard it.

I don't know about you, but for me I can't help but hear 630CHED Oilers post-game call-in regular Robert every time Lavoie is on the air.

Maybe that's what is bugging you? Certainly understandable.
